A Family, friend or colleague can be affected by a mental health condition either directly themselves or someone they know.
After completing this Mental Health First Aid training course you will be able to help your employees create a positive mental health culture within the workplace. Learners will gain a comprehensive knowledge of the range of the most common mental health conditions and the skills to be able to act should a condition be suspected. In today’s climate, it has never been more important to support your work colleagues mental health.
Once completed, you will be considered a Mental Health First Aider and be a point of contact within the workplace to help and support those with a suspected mental health condition

A Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment. This qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement. Annual refresher’s are recommended. The learner will need to complete the full course again to requalify for a further three years.
