4-Day Induction to Care

Overview

Our comprehensive course provides your new carers with the skills and techniques required to ensure they are ready to work with your elderly or vulnerable clients. Our Trainers come from a Care background and have a wealth of knowledge and experience and can help your new carers feel secure and equipped to meet the wide-ranging needs of your clients.

On successful completion of this four-day induction training, carers are awarded our Certificate, which is compliant with the National Occupational Standards.

Course Syllabus

• Day 1: Health & Safety, Personal Care and Mental Capacity Act and DOLS
• Day 2: Equality & Diversity, Dementia and Mental Health, Food Hygiene and Infection Control
• Day 3: Safeguarding, Medication and Basic Life Support
• Day 4 : Moving and Assisting with Hoist
