Overview

This course will help anyone in a management or supervisory capacity to understand the importance of the supervision and appraisal process as well as giving them the tools to deliver effective supervisions/appraisals.

Supervision is primarily about support, confidence-building, reflecting on practice, assisting in skills development and providing the necessary information to help another person to make progress and feel comfortable in their work. However, this course will help you learn maximise the benefit of your formal and informal meetings and turn them into an opportunity to build confidence, team ethos and focus along with the individuals continued professional development.
