Overview

This end of life course gives delegates the knowledge to care for individuals in the end stages of their life and providing palliative care.

The training covers defining palliative care, holistic care, psychological and social aspects of care, advanced care planning, and self-reflection.

This course aims to enhance the knowledge and understanding of health and social care workers by providing information on how to support an individual in their last days of life. The course is designed for care workers to feel more confident and emotionally prepared during this difficult time and ensure that they can deliver high quality care for those approaching the end of their life with compassion, competency and respect.
