This course covers a broad range of training for everyday workplaces. You will develop a solid understanding of the most common workplace emergencies and how to respond confidently. This course meets the legal requirements to have a workplace First Aider.

This course increases the knowledge and skills of anyone who is within a working environment.  Being able to assist someone who has had an accident work, saves precious time, and can add to reducing recovery time.

• Principles of First Aid
• Prevention of cross-contamination
• CPR and use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
• Managing an unresponsive casualty and breathing management
• Wounds and bleeding
• Fractures, sprains, strains and dislocation
• Burns, poison and eye injuries
• Asthma, diabetes, anaphylaxis and choking
