Testimonial

"Very useful training. The trainer was knowledgeable and presented the training very well. I felt like I have a good understanding of the subject matter and also how to compile useful risk assessments. Thank you"

Sarah M - Sole Trader

"I attended the Covid-19 training course which was online. It was very helpful information and helped me to be confident in the Hall’s approach to the Covid-19 requirements. It was very timely because I felt that I really needed additional guidance.). And it was very helpful that I was able to do it online. The staff were very helpful and gave me additional time to complete the required paperwork since I was away on holiday after the course."

"I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the training... Your Facilitator Rose was excellent - approachable, hugely well informed and the whole session was massively helpful."

Social Enterprise Kent (SEK) delivers high quality, free Infection Prevention training courses to Small and Micro sized businesses, Sole Traders and Not for Profit organisations. The objective of the 3-hour course is to promote safe practice in the workplace by raising awareness and identifying effective methods of infection control including COVID-19. We will guide you through the Risk Assessment process.

As an organisation lead or business owner, it’s your legal duty to:

·         Ensure a safe place of work.

·         Provide clean and safe equipment.

Kent County Council (KCC) is keen to support organisations within the KCC area reopen and continue operating in a way that is safe for themselves, their staff and their customers in relation to infection prevention, including COVID-19.

Although the country continues at Stage 4 of the government’s roadmap to recovery, COVID-19 is continuing to spread, with the infection rates increasing week on week. With that in mind it is still vitally important that organisations continue to deliver their services in a way that helps prevent further outbreaks.

The aim of the COVID-19 Safe Advice and Training for Small and Micro Businesses, Sole Traders and Not for Profit Organisations is to promote safe practice in the workplace by raising awareness and identifying effective methods of infection control along with assessing risk.

Course Syllabus

-          Risk factors for infection

-          A look at the chain of infection and transmission
