Mental Capacity Act (MCA) Incorporating Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS)

Overview

Delegates will develop an understanding of what mental capacity is, the legislation, framework and principles relating to it, how it is assessed and signs of an individual who may be lacking mental capacity. This course will include when, where and how an individual may be placed under deprivation of liberty and the legislation relating to this.
