Moving and Assisting (Introduction) - Formerly Moving and Handling

Overview

Aimed at staff who are either new or have been out of the care sector for a while. Delegates will learn and demonstrate a variety of moving and assisting practices with a focus on the use of scenario-based learning. By the end of the training, delegates can safely move and assist individuals.

• Theory of moving and handling.
• A practical session for people movers including transfers from
  chair to chair.
