Moving and Assisting with a Hoist (Refresher) Formerly Moving and Handling

Overview

Moving and Assisting of People with Hoist refresher course.

This half-day refresher is suitable for care workers who have previously attended a Moving and Assisting with a Hoist training and require their yearly update. The course covers the theory behind moving and Handling sessions followed by a hands-on practical session with a hoist to refresh their memory of using it correctly and safely.

We also have a version of this training with a focus on end of life care.
