The Safeguarding Level 3 course explores the world of safeguarding and looks more at the legal responsibilities and pathways that need to be followed for all vulnerable people. This course is to enable delegates to develop awareness and understanding of the safeguarding and protection of children & adults; the protection processes, and relate these to their role and responsibilities.
Objectives:
Alongside knowing your responsibilities in safeguarding others, if you work with vulnerable people, it's important to help them understand their rights, understand risks, and how they can safeguard themselves, this course can help with that element of safeguarding.
It focuses on working in a way that protects and promotes the rights and interests of all parties, looks at safe work practices and how to recognise factors of vulnerability, and how to take the necessary steps to minimise the risks.
The course covers the legal frameworks which protect us all along with how to make a referral and report any concerns or disclosures to the relevant bodies. It also looks at the barriers to disclosures with strategies for overcoming them.
