Safeguarding of Vulnerable Children (SOVC)

Overview

Over 49,000 children in England were identified as needing protection from abuse. All organisations that come into contact with children should have specific safeguarding policies and procedures in place. You will learn the signs and symptoms of child abuse, how to manage disclosures and local authority child protection procedures. You will also understand the impact of abuse disclosures for the child and their own family, safe practices, and policies and procedures.
