Our comprehensive course provides your new carers with the skills and techniques required to ensure they are ready to work with your elderly or vulnerable clients. Our Trainers come from a Care background and have a wealth of knowledge and experience and can help your new carers feel secure and equipped to meet the wide-ranging needs of your clients.
On successful completion of this four-day induction training, carers are awarded our Certificate, which is compliant with the National Occupational Standards.
Learning First Aid should be more than just a tick-box exercise and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. Our Emergency First Aid course is designed to teach you how to effectively deal with an emergency situation. This course covers a broad range of training for everyday workplaces. You will develop a solid understanding of the most common workplace emergencies and how to respond confidently.
Our accredited course is delivered wholly face-to-face as we feel this provides the delegates with a better and more supportive learning environment and allows for immediate feedback and the ability to discuss situations with the trainer.
We are passionate about First Aid and believe it is essential for any business or organisation to have at least one qualified First Aider. Our Emergency First Aid course has been made specifically to help you gain that qualification, but also to teach the skills to handle an emergency if the worst were to happen. Delegates who have completed this training course and then gone on to face emergencies have reported back that the training kicks in, like muscle memory, and they have known what to do.
We care about teaching First Aid that you can use in the real world. With backgrounds in Health and Social Care, Medical and Educational training, our trainers are not just academics, we hire trainers that have given First Aid in real emergencies so they can teach from their own experience. With first-hand knowledge and exceptional skill, we teach more than just how to pass the test, we give you the tools to save someone’s life! Our trainers are able to adjust their teaching styles to ensure everyone on the course is able to achieve the skills and knowledge required.
This course covers a broad range of training for everyday workplaces and provides learners with a solid understanding of the most common workplace emergencies and how to respond confidently. This course meets the legal requirement to have a workplace first aider.
Emergency First Aid is assessed through observation of four activities, dealing with four types of casualty: wounded, blocked airway, unconscious, and not breathing; as well as a test and a Q&A evaluation with the Trainer. This is a thorough and detailed course, giving you a Level 3 qualification and invaluable knowledge and experience, all in a single day.
This qualification provides learners with the knowledge to recognise a range of mental health conditions, how to start a supportive conversation and when and how to signpost a person to seek appropriate professional help. Learners will know how to recognise and manage stress and understand the impact of substance abuse. They will learn about the first aid action plan for mental health, be able to put it in place and know how to implement a positive mental health culture in the workplace.
A Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment. This qualification is valid for three
years from the date of achievement. It is strongly recommended that the learner attends annual refresher training. The learner will need to
complete the full course again to re-qualify for a further three years
This 1-Day course covers the content of the Level 1 course but also expands on the effects of drugs and alcohol, incorporates the First Aid for
