As an Approved Centre for City and Guilds, we offer the new apprenticeship standard: Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship for levy and non-levy employers.

We consult and advise you on your best options, you’re regularly updated on your apprentices’ progress, and they receive support on a monthly basis at their location of work, which means no day releases impacting on costs and productivity.

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship

The Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship is ideal for individuals who support and engage with different departments throughout your organisation and interact with customers.

Apprenticeship Funding

Since May 2017, the way apprenticeships are funded changed; the change intends to encourage large employers to recruit more apprentices and use their levy to develop their existing staff. It also enables small and medium employers to recruit apprentices and train their existing staff for a fraction of the cost. This is categorised as levy employers and non-levy employers, which one are you?

Levy Employers

Levy employers have an annual pay bill of £3 million or more or are connected to other companies or charities for Employment Allowance, which in total have an annual pay bill of £3 million or more.

Non-Levy Employers

Non-levy employers don't have a pay bill of £3 million or more. These employers share the costs of apprenticeships with the government - which is called "co-investment". Employers co-invest 10% and the government pays 90% of the costs of an apprenticeship.
