Moving and Handling of Objects


Accredited Health and Safety in the Workplace - Qualsafe Level 2 Award

Learners on this course will learn about legislation, hazards, risk assessment and managing risks. They also have the opportunity to complete a moving and handling risk assessment.  The course will teach learners the basics of the physiology and bio-mechanics of the back, the importance of good moving and handling techniques, and potential consequences if safe practice is not followed.  At the end of the course there is also a safe opportunity for individual to demonstrate good moving and handling.  All learners are advised to look at and be familiar with their company/employees policies and procedures.
