Here at SEK Training, we provide Management Apprenticeships in Kent, for SMEs. We offer ILM’s (Institute of Leadership and Management) market-leading management apprenticeships designed to create a more qualified and better-trained workforce.
Whether you’re looking to grow your workforce or develop your team with management apprenticeships in Kent, we can help you. We currently provide the Level 5 Operations or Departmental Manager Apprenticeship and the Level 3 Team Leader or Supervisor Apprenticeship.
We have had excellent apprenticeship training from Social Enterprise Kent, their approach to working with us to achieve our mutual goal has been fantastic and we highly recommend them.
This Level 5 ILM Apprenticeship in Kent is ideal for individuals who manage teams or projects and are responsible for achieving operational or departmental goals and objectives as part of their organisation's strategy.
Funding the Apprenticeship
Since May 2017, the way apprenticeships are funded changed; the change intends to encourage large employers to recruit more apprentices and use their levy to develop their existing staff. It also enables small and medium employers to recruit apprentices and train their existing staff for a fraction of the cost. This is categorised as levy employers and non-levy employers, which one are you?
Levy employers have an annual pay bill of £3 million or more or are connected to other companies or charities for Employment Allowance, which in total have an annual pay bill of £3 million or more.
Non-levy employers don't have a pay bill of £3 million or more. These employers share the costs of apprenticeships with the government - which is called "co-investment". Employers co-invest 10% and the government pays 90% of the costs of an apprenticeship.
All our management apprentices have access to an NUS Apprentice Card. Apprentices can get discount in-store and online at more than 140 UK stores and restaurants including Pizza Express, Co-Op, Ask Italian, and so many more.
Apprenticeships aren't always the best option to up-skill yourself or your teams management knowledge and skills. This is why we also offer the diploma element of the apprenticeship on its own, which means you or your team would not need to do Functional Skills (English, Math, I.C.T) or the 20% off the job.
