Accredited Health and Safety in the Workplace - Qualsafe Level 2 Award

This course provides learners with an overview of common mental health conditions, symptoms, causes, medication and treatment.   Delegates learn the legislation relating to mental health and how individuals may be sectioned and detained. We explore the terms mental health and mental illness, how we can look after our mental health and what can impact our mental health.  Learners become familiar with the various therapies available to support individuals by the end of the course, and have the opportunity to try some of these including, art therapy, CBT and mindfulness.
