Booking Skills for Care endorsed courses can bring many benefits to health and social care providers. These courses are designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of professionals, enabling them to deliver high-quality management and supervision and implement enhanced care to patients and clients.
By completing these courses, providers can improve their understanding of important topics and gain valuable practical skills to tackle isolation, manage time, build resilience and ensure wellbeing.
You may be able to claim back money* towards the costs of workers completing the training via the The Workforce Development Fund (WDF) for 2023-24 which is funding from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) disseminated by Skills for Care.
*To make a claim from the Workforce Development Fund in 2023-24 you must complete or refresh your Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set (ASC-WDS) account(s). All existing accounts must be updated on or after 1 April 2023. Applications for the WDF 2023-34 are now open for large national organisations and lead organisations of employer-led partnerships. The deadline for completed applications is 13:00 on Tuesday 13 June 2023 for Phase 1.
